Easter in Doll Land

Happy Easter everyone!
We had such a great Easter but it took some doing on our parts.
We wanted to be loved, of course, but we also wanted to give each of Doll Land's Easter girls a chance to become our temporary "owners."  However, being a bit on the dense side. . .
Err, we mean, being occasionally distracted by pretty things, some of the girls didn't make it easy for us to give them the great opportunity of being our caretakers even for just a day.
Let us relate how it all happened. . .

To begin with, we were quietly waiting for Doll Land's first Easter girl to arrive on the scene.

Baby Amanda:  Baby Bill, which came first -- the chicken or the egg?

Baby Bill:  That's a question that's been pondered for ages, Baby Amanda.

I can't come up with an answer while my brain is being cramped by this chicken suit.

Baby Amanda:  Okay, then why did the chicken cross the road?
Baby Bill:  To get to the other side?

Baby Amanda:  No!  To boldly go where no chicken has gone before.

Baby Bill:  Have you been reading ChickenJoke.com again, Baby Amanda?

Baby Amanda:  Guilty as charged.

Baby Bill:  I wonder what's keeping BeBe.
Baby Amanda:  Who knows with her.  Maybe her crown wouldn't stay straight.

Baby Bill:  Shhhhhh!  Here she comes now. . . Let's be sure we say everything right to convince her to take us home with her.

Baby Amanda and Baby Bill in unison:  Happy Easter, BeBe! 1
Please adopt us.  We are very special chickens.

We promise to lay eggs for you every single day -- of pure GOLD!

You'll be rich beyond your wildest dreams!  Please adopt us to make all your dreams come true!

Baby Amanda:  Can you believe she didn't choose us?

Baby Bill:  I guess we're just not as cute as those fluffy baby chicks.

Baby Amanda:  Well, we can't just take this sitting down. . . .
