I'd Like to Teach The World to Sing

We take you back to April 1971. . .

Three beautiful world travelers from Doll Land
and their two intrepid leaders have recreated that most special event for you today.

On a hilltop in Italy
We assembled young people
From all over the world
To bring you this message
From Coca-Cola bottlers
All over the world
It's the real thing - Coke.

AND THEY SANG:

(click on the note to start the music)

(Hemi1 just wants world peace.  She thinks playing her flute will help bring that about.)

I'd like to buy the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow white turtle doves.

(Demi2, our navigator, thinks world travel is the answer to world peace.  She just could be right.)

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
And keep it company
That's the real thing.

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
And keep it company
That's the real thing

(Semi 3 knows inner beauty will make all men love one another.)

What the world wants today
Coca-Cola
Is the real thing

What the world wants today
Coca-Cola
Is the real thing

(Baby Bill Bono4 says music is the answer to every question. And the beat goes on. . . )

I'd like to teach the world to sing
Sing with me (background)
In perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
And keep it company
That's the real thing

(Baby Amanda Safka5 knows the key to eternal bliss can be found right there in that most lovely shaped bottle.  Remember everything goes better with Coca-Cola. Everybody sing!!!)

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
And keep it company
That's the real thing.

What the world wants today
Coca-Cola
Is the real thing

What the world wants today
Coca-Cola
Is the real thing!

YES!!!
