From The Lodge
Baby Amanda: Baby Bill,
looking back to before the start of the 2006 Winter Olympics,
did you ever imagine it would
be soooooooo magical?
Baby Bill: Never!
I expected it to be wonderful, but it has exceeded even my great expectations.
Baby Amanda: Do you have
a favorite memory?
Baby Bill: There are so
many good memories of fun times, but I do have a favorite.
Baby Amanda: Me, too!
Baby Bill: Let's each
say our favorite together on the count of 3.
1 - 2 - 3. . .
Baby Amanda & Baby Bill in
unison: The figure skating!!!

Yesterday Once More
(Please
click on the note to start the music.)
When I was young I'd watch the
Olympics on TV
Waiting for my favourite sport
When they skated I'd glide along
It made me smile.
~
Those were such happy times
and not so long ago
How I wondered where they've
gone
But they're back again
Just like a long lost friend
all the moves I love so well.
~
Ev'ry twizzle and turn, ev'ry
spiral and jump still shines.
Ev'ry turn around the rink
That they're startin' to skate
so fine.
~
When they get to the part where
they're skating with heart
It can really make me cry just
like before
It's yesterday once more.
~
Lookin' back on how it was in
years gone by
And the good times that I had
makes today seem rather sad
So much has changed.
~
It was skates of gold that I
would watch to learn
And I'd memorize each move
Those old jumps and spins still
look so good to me
As they melt the years away.
~
Ev'ry twizzle and turn, ev'ry
spiral and jump still shines.
Ev'ry turn around the rink
That they're startin' to skate
so fine.
~
All my best memories come back
clearly to me
Some can even make me cry
Just like before it's yesterday
once more.
~
Ev'ry twizzle and turn, ev'ry
spiral and jump still shines.
Ev'ry turn around the rink
That they're startin' to skate
so fine.
~
Ev'ry twizzle and turn, ev'ry
spiral and jump still shines.
Ev'ry turn around the rink
That they're startin' to skate
so fine.

Baby Amanda: Baby Bill,
do you think the CEO has missed us while we've been gone?
Baby Bill: Of course she
has, Baby Amanda. What a question!
Baby Amanda: I've missed
her, too, but don't you dare tell her I said that.
Baby Bill: Your secret
is safe with me, Baby Amanda.
Baby Amanda: Thanks, Baby
Bill! You're the best!
Baby Bill: Anytime, Baby
Amanda.
Now we need to set up the Closing
Ceremony.
Baby Amanda: Do we have
to? I don't want the Olympics to end.
Baby Bill: Well, if we
don't, we can't perform the reprise of our Gold-Medal-Winning skate.
Baby Amanda: Then what
are we waiting for?
Baby Amanda & Baby Bill
in unison: Ladies and Gentlemen!
